Suman Thomas is a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) who earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Saint Peter’s University in 2012. Since 2013, she has been an integral part of Dr. Suri’s medical team, providing high-quality, compassionate care across a variety of clinical settings.

Over the years, Suman has served as a medical consultant at RRPH and has cared for patients in assisted living facilities, subacute rehabilitation centers, and long-term care facilities. She routinely follows up with residents, managing both chronic and acute conditions, ordering diagnostic tests and lab work, and prescribing appropriate medications. Her role also involves close collaboration with nursing staff and families to ensure a holistic, patient-centered approach to care.

Suman is deeply committed to the well-being of her patients and takes pride in delivering thoughtful, evidence-based care. She considers it a privilege to work alongside the physicians and her team, and she continues to advance her professional journey with passion and dedication.

Dee is the Director of Diabetes Center of Excellence for Ritu Suri MD & Associates, a Clinical Pharmacist and Board Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist (CDCES). She provides coaching and support for people living with diabetes, pre-diabetes, hypertension, chronic kidney disease and heart failure (both individual and group visits). She also provides a Comprehensive Medication Review for patients with multiple comorbidities.

Her passion is to empower people with the knowledge they need to successfully manage their diabetes & hypertension. She provides practical solutions for her patients. She believes in a culturally sensitive approach, patient-centered care and shared decision making during her coaching sessions. As a result, they lead happier and healthier lives.
